Allana competed in Australia at Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries made her go through a number of seasons without playing before switching to the Rugby League. The first time Allana played in a rugby league game for women took place in the year 2015. She played well against Queensland and also represented New South Wales. Allana has added radio into her arsenal, regularly appearing on the highest-rated Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana holds a professional teaching qualification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of being a representative of Australia in three sports - rugby sevens as well as touch, and rugby league.
